Appears to have been sold before I was able to find a solution.
My wife and I are supposed to road trip through the PNW in September, maybe I'll be able to find something on the trip.

Re: Need advice on fuel pump or fuel filter problem
I've had to replace the hard fuel lines on both my current vans, but only because a line broke while dropping the tank to fix other problems. I've dropped the tank on almost every van I had, it's really not that bad to do. When your pump goes bad, only replace it with ACDelco/Delphi as others just d...

Re: Tallest tire 15" available?
I'm currently running 235/75R15 (29") tires with no lift or tire clearance mods on my 1999. It works by running tires that aren't aggressive on the outer edges.
If you are handy with tools, tune-ups are fairly easy on these vans.

Re: '05 AWD Astro Running Rough
Before you swap out anything else, go get yourself a couple bottles of GM Fuel System Treatment Plus. The P0300 is a fairly common occurrence with dirty injectors. I've had it on a few of my vans. (Currently hunting for my 8th Astro.) Regular fuel injector cleaner didn't cut it, but the heavy duty G...

Help! - Need a van in Reno, NV inspected before purchase
Found a 2004 Astro AWD on Craigslist in Reno, NV that I'm interested in. Champion Chevrolet in Reno won't let me pay for the 27 point inspection over the phone. Does anyone live in the Reno area that would be willing to check the van over for me? Should the van check out, I plan on taking Amtrak fro...

Re: Astro Camper Layout
Just booked a Malibu for a Vegas trip March 6-9, only $59 a day with 100 miles per day. Beats getting a room and a car in Vegas, especially on a Nascar weekend.

Re: 2000 Astro will not start..
Just because the pump pressurizes the line, doesn't mean it's enough to start it. You really need to hook a gauge to it. Harbor Freight has one that will do the job for $20. Need 50-55 psi to start the van.

Re: astro awd vs express awd
Honestly, they are both good vans. I prefer the Astro AWDs because of size, number of vehicles produced with AWD, existing aftermarket lifts and MPG. Grumpy on road trips usually doing 5 mph over the limit, I'm able to get 19 mpg. Green stock was able to get 22 mpg on our Alaska trip. Depending on h...

Welcome to the site!
Longest single trip we've done in one of my vans was three weeks Chicago to Alaska and back. Stayed in the van most of the trip and loved every minute of it. Really wanted to continue on when we returned.

I might be renting one out in Vegas in March, if you aren't in a hurry I could take measurements.

Re: Checking if a wheel hub/bearing is bad?
Yeah, that kinda sounds like bad wheel bearings. You shouldn't feel pay in any direction. Fairly cheap and easy to do. Might as well turn/replace the rotors while they are off.

Whole unit? Cap and rotors aren't whole units. Sounds like you replaced the distributor.
In that case, I'm really feeling that you haven't got it aligned correctly.
