Re: security system

You just had the tranny out and in.......seems like something there might be a good place to look. Sounds like an electric connection has come undone. Just a thought... I had the starting problem before the transmission was out... a couple days after I got it, I had let it run for several hours (wh...

So thinking it is some sort of kill switch.... any suggestions on how to disable it... I replaced the battery in the key fob... power...

Re: 2000 astro transmission

one transmission shop, who had done the tranny in my RV (turbo 400, I think) for $300, wanted $700, another shop would rebuild mine for $575. you would think replacing clutch in either would be the same price.... or at least similar.... i guess since they know only 2000 is interchangeable.... so jus...

Re: Are the 92 and 2000 rearends interchangeable?

you might have to swap bump stops, I put an 88 rear end in my 96, and the brake pads and pistons are a little different. you'll want to use the pads from the older one and make sure you keep track when buying replacements,

some teachers have very little sense of humor, definitely funny.... the teacher could have specified after your answer, "ok, now, what's your favorite living animal.... and left it at that.... (myself, I would have said walleye.... or Steak)

Re: 94 awd safari how hard to replace power steering lines

Any info on how hard it will be to change p/s lines on a 94 safari? It will have to be done in my driveway. I had a look at it today and it sure doesn't look as though there is much room there. Any hints on how to make it easier? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. If the weather changes and i ...
