Here's my '99 4X2 Astro with a 2" Overland lift on Goodyear Wrangler RT/S 235/70R15s.

Here's the same '99 4X2 with a 4" Overland lift on 31X10.50/15 BF Goodrich AT T/A KOs and
Rancho RS5000 shocks. Very minor trimming front and rear. Tires do rub on ocassion but nothing serious. You just learn not to turn hard.

Here's mine.....at the moment. 6" lift total. 2" sub-frame spacers, 4" HD spindles, 4" HD leaf springs and shackles. 31"x10.5" BFG Mud Terrain tires on ProComp 1079 wheels with 3.75" backspacing and -19mm offset. Spindles create a 3" wider trackwidth so I have 1.5" wheel spacers on each side in back to even things out. It's wide and very tall!

It's changing on a daily basis. There is still a lot of work to do and a lot more goodies to be installed. I will update pix as I go!

UPDATE, OCT. 12, 2008
Bumper fascia, fender trim and grille gaurd installed. Still need to do some work on the gaurd to make it look like it belongs on there. I had to do a lot of trimming on both the bumper fascia and the plastic fender trim piece near the doors. And of course major cutting into the wheel wells, pix of which can be found in my other topics somewhere.

Now if I could only afford some offroad lights!

I'm still experimenting with the spare tire.....

9dawg, Your van is awesome! With the 4" and 31s its looks spot on! With the 2" lift, it looks like the way they should of come. Did you see any drop in mpg with the 235/70R15s? Also did you run a different shock? (I know you can use the stocks)

Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the comment stomp13. :) The mpg has always stayed about the same. I haven't actullay checked the milage to see what I'm getting but I commute about 45 minutes oneway to and from work each day and really never noticed a difference between the tires. I used the same Rancho RS5000s on the 2" and 4" lifts for this van. If you are just going to the 2" you can use stock shocks. The ProComps are good too though and are not very expensive for a set from Overland.

Hey 97Cargo, are those the HD spindles from Overland? How does it ride? Looks like the front tire track is wider than the rear, may just be the photo though. With the HD spindles are you running stock coils up front? My lift has the 2" subframe spacers and the HD coils up front and the 4" HD spring pack in the rear. The ride is kind of harsh.
