Looks Great. Thats the way the AWD should have come from GM. Or at least a ZR-2 version of it. =D>

BTW- I use to correspond with a few guys that worked at the Astro/Safari plant around the turn of the century. They actually were interested in such a concept for these vans. I think it would have done well but I guess the termination of them was already in the works. A team was already designing it's replacement. The Uplander. :vom:

Funny you put that smilie. I've been calling them the UpChucker since they came out. My wife and I were walking around a CarMax lot and we came across one, she looked at it and said, "What the hell is that?" in a disgusted tone.

It looks like the you got the tape off...Is that the stock bumper with the cladding removed?

Not to answer of FireVan (but I will), yes thats the steel bumper. At least thats what mine looks like. But I have alot more rust :D

When I ran code in the white one ('96 2wd with 8" lift) people always moved over right away. Something about having wig-wag headlights blasting in your rear window, I guess. Funny thing was even when i wasn't running code people would sometimes pull over to let me by. Must look scary in a rear veiw mirrior. :yikes:
