Did a bit of a crawl today

Post by JTalley »

I was unloading a bunch of stuff into a building with a friend of mine. There's one gate to get into the area, but it doesn't need a fence because the grade of the surrounding area was so bad it was deemed innaccessible. Of course, someone had to park in front of the gate, so while there was barely enough room to get in, getting out would be nearly impossible. I looked at that nasty hill... After about three minutes of looking over the ground and figuring how to drive down it without tipping, we jumped in, threw it into low and took off. It wasn't difficult, but the angles were just mind blowing. It felt like we wre driving straight down. He filmed it with his phone (I can get the video from him, I just don't have it right now). The video doesn't do it justice, though, because he filmed straight out the windshield, so there's nothing to compare our angle with. I had a good time, anyway, and figured I would share my first real off-road experience.
